A Rich History

Palm Aire's story began in 1959 with the opening of The Palms Golf Course. A lodge followed in 1962, attracting golfers and visitors to the area. In the years that followed, the property expanded with a hotel, spa, and two additional golf courses: the Oaks and Cypress.

During its resort years, Palm Aire welcomed notable guests, including Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jerry Lewis. The New York Yankees also stayed at the resort during spring training. Its golf courses hosted prestigious tournaments, helping establish Palm Aire's reputation as a recognized South Florida golf destination.

As the area grew during the 1960s and 1970s, residential development transformed Palm Aire into the community we know today.
